Posted August 7, 2018

Ben Fox, who has been president of Manitoba Beef Producers (MBP) since February 2017, has stepped down effective August 7 from his role as president to seek a federal party nomination.

Tom Teichroeb, MBP’s vice-president, will assume the role of MBP president on an interim basis.

MBP thanks Fox for his service as MBP president and for his dedication to advancing the interests of Manitoba’s beef producers, and wishes him well as he pursues this opportunity.

The MBP board of directors will meet on August 28 to discuss filling the vacancy on its board executive.
